How to make HA SOCKS proxy for BBSA?

    Sami Halonen

Because of my company's very complicated network architecture and infrastructure I'm forced to use several SOCKS proxies to reach different networks. However, BBSA itself doesn't seem to understand if a proxy server goes down. I've been running some tests in my testing environment and BBSA only seems to do load balancing if several proxy servers are configured behind a single Network Routing Rule.

Is there a way to make BBSA to "notice" that a proxy is down and automatically stop routing traffic through it or do I need to start looking at hardware load balancing/clustering (expensive) solutions?
