I have the below thoughts on this issue:
1. Is your WAS target (Server) and APP_SERVER_HOME (Client) are of the same major version?
2. May be the DefaultApplication EAR file on the target is corrupted. Since it is DefaultApplication, can yo uninstall and then take a snapshot?
Can you take a filter snapshot and make sure you do not select any applications to be captured?
If this issue is not resolved soon, I would recommend you to open a support ticket.

I see that there was a node in the snapshot filter, which was not present on the Web server itself.
Now i have created the snapshot for that Web server Profile.
