You can change/update NLS_LANG parameter. In windows press windows+R and type regedit. It will open registry editor.
There you have to serach for Oracle entry. Once you find oracle entry right click on it and create new string, name it as NLS_LANG with the character set value you want to set.
Let me know in case of any concerns.
Thanks for your feedback.
I have already tried by modifying the registry value.
I have set the NLS_LANG value to AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1252, and have restarted ARS afterwards.
I did however not change anything in the behavior.
I am not remembering exactly, you can change it using Oracle Database Configuration utility.
I will go and check with the DBA.
Will changing it not compromise the DB?
One more precision: copy/paste with a full client form field works. it's when pasting e.g. within SRM as response to a question that the conversion fails.
Please visit below webpage for more details on NLS_LANG. I think you will find answers to your questions in details on it.
