    Job Parameter loss

      Hi all,

is it possible that after changing the property "JOB_TIMEOUT" inside the "built-in Property Classes" to many jobs, those get parameter value lost???

      I try to be clearer:

      1 selected some jobs

      2 changed "JOB_PART_TIMEOUT" and "JOB_TIMEOUT" properties

3 parameters got lost from these jobs

The 2 and 3 steps, could be related each other?

      Regards,

      Domenico

          Please provide more details:

          - where and how (exactly - provide full details) did you set the property?

          - what type of Job was it?

          - where (exactly - provide full details) did you check the property?

          - what version of BSA are you using?

            - where and how (exactly - provide full details) did you set the property?

1 - under folder: Jobs -> UserFolderJobs -> right click and select "Group Explorer View".

2 - CTRL-A to select all the jobs listed.

3 - right click and choose "Set Property".

            4 - in the pop-up menu, select "JOB_PART_TIMEOUT" and enter a value.

            5 - Click OK.

            - what type of Job was it?

There are 57 jobs, and are almost all of the same type: "NSH script Job".

Some of those are "Batch Jobs", and also the jobs collected inside have the parameter with the value missing.

            - where (exactly - provide full details) did you check the property?

If you mean the property(not the parameter), I do like this:

            1 - under folder: Jobs -> UserFolderJobs

2 - select any of the mentioned(above) jobs and look at the "Extended" Properties of the object.

3 - here, everything is OK.

While for the parameter I check as below:

1 - I double click on the job and then check in the "Parameters" tab.

2 - The same for the "NSH script" inside the depot.

3 - here, the value is missing(inside the parameter definitions).

If it can be helpful, note that this parameter has flag "editable=yes".

            - what version of BSA are you using?

            Version: 8.3.00.115

Ok, I tried it again and it is confirmed.

Changing the property from the Group Explorer View, it loses the value parameters.

Should I notify it to the support opening a ticket..!?

Do you have in your NSH Script job the option "set execution override" selected?

Also, can you please check if the GUI Version matches the appserver version?
