Can you explain this in detail. For now, based on my understanding there are some active-links which are used to open the AIF forms probably you can add the overlaid workflow to those based on your condition to open what view you require to see.
Hi Kranthi, We have developed an AIF views to manage
1: Create Sharepoint Site, 2: Delete Site 3: Add Site Quota Template, 5: Add Site Collection Admin
and every functionality has itsown view, Now when i go to configure create site SRD i have selected " Create Site" View as a default view into the AIF right??
On the other hand my 2nd SRD associates the same AIF form but different View, but now when i open the 2nd SRD it shows me the same view as 1st one, is there any workflow or Active Link i can write to configure this.
But i have to select the other view from the AIF to configure 2nd SRD,
As of SRM 8.1, only the default view can be opened from Request Entry Console. It would be nice if the View Name could also be specified on the SRD.
Actually yes, you can do this in workflow.
Each SRD has an Instance ID that can be used in a qualification to identify which SRD opens the AIF, then you can switch to the appropriate View on Window Open, etc.
However, one thing to note is that depending on where and what order you run this workflow in there maybe a "Flicker" to the end User when switching views through workflow.
You may also make copies of the forms, select the desired view as "Default", share the workflow across all copies and attach it to SRD.
So, you will basically end up with 8 forms.
Hi All, We got it working by writting a Workflow where directly passing "Vew Name" into $VUI$ as a default and attached it to SRD.
Thanks All !!
