can you confirm this is x64 w/ the output of a 'uname -a' on the server? and the exact filename of the installer ?
couple other things to run:
rpm --verify file
openssl rand 1024
Samething happened to me also.
Restart the red-hat server.
Recopy the installer ( use Binary copy option during winscp) and provide execute permission.
Try to re-execute.
can you confirm the md5sum:
Although I would expect the error to be different, we have seen a case apparently where disabling SELinux prior to agent installation and re-enabling afterwards resolved this error. Definitely check the md5sum though as Bill suggests.
We also see this when the wrong installer is used for the platform so that is likely what Bill wants to check.
