Software install query for Sharepoint 2010 and SQL 2012

While Installing SharePoint 2010 and SQL Server 2012 we are getting deploy job errors even though the installation is successful when we check on the VM.

      SharePoint-

Job failed but SharePoint installed 100% and working fine.

Deploy Job Error - Not enough storage to execute the command (where as 60 GB is available on the machine)

      SQL Server 2012-

Job failed but SQL Sever 2012 is installed and working fine.

Deploy Job Error - Command returned non-zero exit code: -2146233087

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

SharePoint 2010 - Not enough storage to execute the command

            Please attach the bldelpoy log

SQL Sever 2012 exit code: -2146233087

This exit code is coming from the SQL Server setup, not the BSA deploy Job, which is just passing it through.

On the target, check the Application and System Event logs and the SQL Server sup logs (%programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log or % temp%\sqlsetup*.log) for more information

It seems, you are not passing the answer file correctly.. I can see below error in log:

[stderr: 3]'"1135.1\ConfigurationFile.ini"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

sorry - didn't see the file - right:

                08/14/13 05:04:25.595 INFO bldeploy - [3][Windows 2008 R2 SQLServer 2012 ConfigurationFile.ini] Executing command: ""1135.1\ConfigurationFile.ini" (add uninstall flags here)"

                08/14/13 05:04:26.017 WARN bldeploy - [3][Windows 2008 R2 SQLServer 2012 ConfigurationFile.ini] [stderr: 3]     '"1135.1\ConfigurationFile.ini"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,

                operable program or batch file.

so ""1135.1\ConfigurationFile.ini" (add uninstall flags here)" is not a valid uninstall command.  that's only being triggered since the install failed and unless you really need rollback to work you can ignore this for now.

that seems to be happening is the command you use for install:

                08/14/13 04:20:58.996 INFO bldeploy - [4][Install] Executing command: ""C:\SQL 2012 R2\setup.exe" /ConfigurationFile="C:\SQL 2012 R2\configurationFile.ini""

                is exiting:

                08/14/13 05:04:25.364 INFO bldeploy - [4][Install] [stdout: 4]     Microsoft (R) SQL Server 2012 11.00.3000.00

Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

                08/14/13 05:04:25.566 DEBUGbldeploy - [4][Install] In RunProcess: exitCode = -2146232832

as jim mentions - so your sharepoint install seems to kick off a sql server install?  you need to see what that error code means and why the sql server install is failing.  perhaps the space message that jim notes, or look through the log messages.

                  Is this resolved?

                  Thanks
