    Cannot download MSWU-765

    Tim Sharrar

I ran a patch catalog update a few days ago and got an error for each hotfix associated with MSWU-765.  Hotfixes for all the other new bulletins downloaded successfully

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Here is one of the error messages:

I tried to download the hotfix manually using the above link but got an error.  I’m wondering if Microsoft’s site is messed up or if shavlik has the URL wrong.

That url isn’t valid…   perhaps shavlik or microsoft provided a bad link.  either way I’d open a ticket w/ support.

If you just need to get the remediation job to run you can manually download the patches and move them to the patch repository.  You may also need to update the catalog again as it looks like there is a second version of that patch available now.

Edit: I'm getting the same issue now as well.  I tried to enable 'Non-Security patches' on one of our patching jobs and it is failing to download this patch.  For some reason it is trying to remediate it even though I have it in an exclusion group.
