You are logged in as a member of the local administrators ?
Try running the installer like:
Msiexec /I rscd.msi /l*vx c:\temp\rscd.log
And see if the log produces some useful output.
Yes we are a part of Administrators group which allows us agent installation on Windows hosts. But having issues on couple of hosts. Below is output of log file

Do you have McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention running on this server? Does the service name already exist? Does your server require a reboot or did you try a reboot? If you do a Google search on "error 1923 verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services" you can find many reasons and resolutions for this error.
Server didn't have MCafee Host Intrusion Prevention running installed on it.
It is rebooted on 07/14. There is not pending reboot in registry which is required
I am part of a group which in added to Administrators.
I verified old registry entries on the system and found 7.6.0 and 8.0.0 related entries , which i removed manually this afternoon .
@Lavanya Since you have checked all the suggesteds steps i have workaround for you
Restart the agent installation but select custom installation In the custom install options uncheck Secure Login, it will install the RSCD Agent smoothly in the directory you chose.
