i don't believe you can use http only for webservices. also - you can only use one or the other cert type here - just like w/ apache - you get a single cert per 'site'.
what's the use case here ?
Thanks for replying, we want to expose the web services functionality and the default bladelogic certificate is not being understood by client tools consuming the web services, (example IE showing the Navigation blocked alert). So thought of altogether removing the https functionality.
Regarding importing CA issued certificates I feel separating the web client (BLCLI <--> APP Server) and console would have been more flexible and also accepting either p7b / p12 formats, though I understand this feature is given for SSO
bsa supports the jks keystore format. any pkcs12 compliant certificate can be converted to jks using the java 'keytool' command which is included in the bsa appserver install. the procedure to do this is documented here:
there is no reason to have separate certificates for different client communications.
part of this request got resolved by installing the requried certs, and regarding disabling secure http, Bill anyways clarified that its not possible to do so
