We are trying to use the SNMP functionality of the jobs to route failures to an appropriate group/individual. We have SNMP alerting working and it is being picked up by our monitoring system. We have reviewed the MIB file and it seems that there is no information pertaining to the user or role that launched the job. We need to be able to determine the user or role to route the alert to the appropriate group. Is there a way to extend the SNMP trap information to contain user or role for the executed job?
no. you would need to trigger a script from from your snmp collector and run some blcli to pull the additional information back.
