this is a known defect - to work around:
1. Add the below two lines to the 'xyz_bmc-findFiles' script on the fileserver found in '[INSTALL_PATH]/storage/scripts' directory.
2. Add the same above two lines to the file 'bmc-findFiles.linux' on the appserver found in
3. Save both the files and re-run the job.
I am running into a similar error while running a modified PCI Solaris 10 template against a solaris target in BSA Version 8.3.1:
com.bladelogic.om.infra.app.collector.AssetCollectionException: Language en_US.UTF-8 not found, Please install English language, UTF-8 encoding (component=BMO - Solaris 10 (chs-dev-sup-app), selector=Extended Object:BL-LXO DISA Solaris STIG GEN001300 Check)
I modified the bmc-findFiles script in both /storage/scripts directory and /share/sensors directory but doesn't seem to make much difference.
is that locale installed on the target server ?
Thanks for your answer.
I did the changes into the two files, but the error continue. And the locate is installed into the target server.
Do you have any idea? or Do you know if for some new version that issue was corrected? Can I do an update for the content version only? or Do I need to update all the BSA components?

>> I am not sure if this known issue is fixed in any latest BSA version. You need to update all BSA component to avoid any compatibility issue. updating content version only will not do.
Before upgrading make sure in which BSA version this issue is fixed.
