Which version of BSA you are using?
Have you are using recommended h/w configuration for BSA server?
In this you can See MaxHeapSize Attribute which is the Java HeapSize.
You can set value for it accordingly.
Provide information on te question asked before.
You have to check couple of things.
Tell me version of Bladelogic. If it is 8.2 and lesser version, there is patch for this (100% utilization issue). This might be occurring because "File Description crossed it limits" . Raise support ticket to bmc support and ask patch for File Description.
If you are using 8.3, then confirm me few more things:
What is OS of Bladelogic App Server?
Are you running any BLCLI commands on the server?
we are using 8.1.04.409 version for BL. Actually we are updating the patch catlog . Due to this we are getting this problem. Os version is Microsoft 2008 R2.

If the max heap is not specified in the deployment, then it is being inherited from the registry - HKLM\Software\BladeLogic\operations manager\application server\option1
this is the heap for the launcher actually, and it will be inherited by the appserver deployments.
you should explicitly set the max heap in blasadmin for the deployment. for a x64 jvm it should be 4g, and you should have 8-12g of total system memory.
how many cpu in this system?
is this a vm or physical?
is there a single java process consuming the CPU, and this only happens during the CUJ, or other times?
do you have a support ticket open on this ?
Instead of registry what's the equivalent on *nix App servers?
well - he mentioned the OS was 2008R2...
on unix you would look in blasadmin or NSH/br/blappserv
