Use the blcli Commands to achiev this.
do you know what Batch Jobs need to be checked?
In this case I do not know what the batchJob name will be, because the job can be a member of ANY batchjob amongst the numerous batchjobs we have, so I intend to just find if it is running as a member or as an individual.
I am not really concerned about what batchjob member it is running as.
If thats not possible, let's think I do know the batchJob name.
use Utility exportDependencyGraph.
It will provdie you complete dependency, even if you do not know batch job details.
there is not a way to pass a parameter from the batch to the member jobs. the best you could do is write a bunch of complicated blcli to determine of the current job run is part of a currently running batch job run.
why do you want to do this? what are you trying to accomplish ?
