+BBSA version 8.0 and RSCD agent version 8.1
I am getting this error while Adding RSCD agent (a VM) to BBSA
you're probably licensing the agents automatically as you're adding them to the bbsa. during the licensing process, bbsa contacts the licensing portal, but the credentials that are passed may be wrong.
in blasadmin reset the username and password that you would normally use to login to bladelogic portal:
set Licensing ServiceUsername portal-user
set Licensing ServicePassword portal-pass
(optional, should already be set up) set Licensing LicenseServiceURL "http://www.bladelogic.com/services/LicensingWS"
(optional, should already be set up) set Licensing DeregisterServiceURL "https://webapps.bmc.com/BMCBladelogicLicensingWS/services/BMCBladelogic"
or validate that your credentials are still valid, by logging into here: https://www.bladelogic.com/support/index.jsp
The license webservice is currently not answering in a timely maner and hence the license process through the UI will come back with this error. Once the problem has been fixed, you should be able to license agents again. BMC is working hard to get this fixed asap.
the webservice has been restored and the licensing problem has been resolved. You may want to try again and see if the error is gone now.
Yes the Licensing portal is up now. so i am able to execute the nsh script without any error now.
