    BMC Marimba(BBCA) Application not able to login

      BMC Marimba (BBCA) Application not able to login using Domain ID

       

      ======================

       

      Recently we made some changes in the Domain controller. We brought down the existing Domain controller & we incorporated a new domain controller.

       

      After that we are facing this issue. i.e. we are not able to login into BMC Marimba (BBCA) Application using domain ID but we are able to login using administrator ID

       

      Please find the below screenhshot.

       

      Operating System : Windows 2k3 Enterprise Edition R2

      Operating System Patches :

       

      Database Type : Oracle

      Database Version : 10.2.0.3

       

      Product Name/ Version / Patch : BMC BLADELOGIC CLIENT AUTOMATION/8.0.00

       

      Please do let me how to resolve this issue.

          Did you migrate/recreate the BBCA specific user roles (Primary Admin, Admin, Operator) and user accounts on the new domain controller?

            No, We haven't recreated/imported the user roles. Please can you tell me

            is there any document which tells us how to do it. Or what are the steps

            we need to follow .

              I believe that it is an AD related activity. However you can use ADMT to move user roles. Is the hostname of the new DC the same or is it a different one!
