Within BSA generically or the compliance rule you can not change or cast this value from the EO. Can the EO script itsellf be called with a flag or itself modify the results it will pass back to BSA?
I can make the EO script pass an integer instead of a FP value. The problem with that is accuracy. If I need to check that a filesystem has at least 1.5GB of space available, I can't do that with an integer because the value as an integer will be 1 for anything less that 2GB on the filesystem. I can't make my rules check for the next highest whole number, in this case 2, because if the filesystem has 1.8GB free and I only need 1.5, the rule would still improperly fail as an integer since 1.8 would be represented as 1 in integer form.

I would rewrite the EO to return the size in MB, rather than GB. In other words, if your EO returns 1.5, set it to return 1536 (1.5 * 1024) ... The 1536 (integer) number should be easy to insert into your Rule.
