    Port 9480 not listed as a listening port on app server

      Customer has given me a vm clone of the production app server v8.1.1.47, after running the post install wizard and starting the app server I cannot connect to the app server via console on poort 9840. I did the netstat -an on the server and port 9840 is not listed as a listening port on the app server. So the console is trying to connect but port 9840 is not available. Has anyone came across this? Thanks a bunch in advance!!
