BMC has introduced Chat system in ITSM 8.0 as a OOTB feature
To clarify, the chat provided in ITSM 8.0.00 is intended for use between support technicians / engineers. That said, BMC has recently acquired a solution that allows a live chat between the end user and IT - plus the added value of a virtual chat agent that can solve commonly encountered problems without requiring the live chat at all.
