since, while creating vm,. we cant assign more than 8 cpus, even vmware doesnot allow. We can increase the cpu once vm is created through BLPackage/Deploy job.
As sundaresan said, till BSA versions we can assign only upto 8 cpu's to template VGP.
But If you have requirement of 16 cpu.
Then try following:
- Create a new VM on vCenter with 16 CPU's (it can be done only if vCenter allows it & the ESXi Host has that capability)
- Convert the VM to template
- Now use this template in BSA to create VGP.
Hi Aryan,i had tested as this before. but the result is no matter how many CPUS you set in the VM template，the vm created by the VGP max has 8 CPU
