Max open files on linux whilst mapped as root

      Hi all,

Within BL I have a NSH script job that deploys tomcat applications to a server.  Once complete the job will also start tomcat again.

The role the user is using within BL is setup to map to root on Linux.

However I have noticed that the limits are wrong when going via BL in this way.

If I log on to the server as root and start tomcat manually, I see:

      sudo cat /proc/19915/limits

Max open files            32768                32768                files

If I start tomcat via BL which is mapping my user to root, I see:

      sudo cat /proc/27592/limits

Max open files            1024                 1024                 files

Does anyone have any idea's as to why this might differ?
