The tuner would have encountered any pending operations that is why the channel would not be stopping.
There would not be any force operation however in tuner admin, so you may need to wait for some time so that tuner has the bandwidth to focus on the given channel.
I often meet this situation when I am deploying something, this result shows part of the servers are successful ,but the rest are pending, when I login into the tuner administration, I find out that the deployment service of pending server is running and can't be stopped, it can runs longer than 24 hours before stop, this make me very sad, how to avoid this happen? If the deployment service doesn't stop ,it will not execute other tasks.
Is there any information present in the Deployment Service logs as to what is pending due to which the service is still progressing.
This is the deployment service channel log:

[06/Sep/2012:14:37:58 +0800] - major micros 15375 : Failed to upload logs
I can't find the reason that cause the pending.
Enable telnet on the workstation. Run the below command from the command prompt on the workstation:
telnet shams039 8000
If you reach a blank screen after running the command then the port is available. In case you get the below reply:
Connecting To shams039...Could not open connection to the host, on port 8000: Connect failed
Then the port is not available. You probably need to open a firewall request to TCP/8000 port from the workstation, so that the deployment service is able to upload the logs to shams039.
Yes. If you have remote access tool like psexec and C$ is share. You can pass a command to stop the channel in question via runnchannel. you'll get faster response time than tuner admin.
Would you please give me an example about that? I know little about the runchannel command.
Before checking the runchannel command syntax please confirm if psexec would work in your environment...
Here is syntax example:
runchannel <Tuner_Admin_CLI_URL> <operation> [<options>] -tuner <host>:<port> -username <user_name> -password <password> [-channel <channel_URL> [-channelUsername <user_name> -channelPassword <password>]]
Here is example
The above would work without psexec. It would stop the test channel on the cahog-laptop host.
