    8.1 BladelogicRSCD local account lockout

      8.1 BladelogicRSCD local account lockout.

      Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had experienced this issue before?

The problem appears to be that the local Bladelogic account gets locked out while trying to start the RSCD service, it claims that it's an unknown user name or bad password, seeing as the service assumes the identity and runs as the local Administrator the password isn't being inputted anywhere.

I've not experienced this issue before and the only resolution I've found is to logon to the server delete the BladelogicRSCD local account from users and restart the RSCD service which repopulates the BladelogicRSCD local account into users, this isn't really a fix and is quite time consuming when deploying agents. The two errors in the event logs I've found are below:

      Error one -

      Logon account:       BladeLogicRSCD

      Source Workstation:               XXXXXXXX

      Error Code:             0xC000006A
