The OOB integration is only using Atrium and AO .
When you say native what do you mean ?
What is your use case ?
Prior to the versions of 8.x, many people have built custom scripts based on SOAP to talk to remedy/atrium cmdb webservice , used scripts and NSH script based jobs to automate the same.
My understanding was in 8.2.1 (our version here) there was some capacity built-in to both BladeLogic and Remedy that allowed at least some level of integration without the need for additional software or design.

Russ, Rohit is right... there's no "direct" or "native" integration between Remedy and Bladlogic -- it goes via Atrium Orchestrator.
There are "direct" Bladelogic integrations with Atrium CMDB and Atrium Product Catalog, in case that's what you heard about.
