That is my colleague, he works with me. He is one who is trying to create Webserver (IHS/Sunone/Apache) Snapshot through BMA or BSA.
But I geuss its not complete.
By the way is there any way to generate a snapshot job for any webserver or websphere from BSA other than BMA?
I am not sure if you can do it via BMA but via BSA it is possible.
This all depends on the level of abstraction of the objects that you require in your Snapshots.
BSA -- has content available (Component Templates, etc.) known as BAA that has components at the OS and Middleware. But most of this is at filesystem layer, and some configuration objects.
BMA -- is much more specific to the Middleware configurations including details about the cell/domain/instance as well as the application.
Most customers rely on both BSA w/ BAA Content and BMA.
Though what you are asking is technically achievable, but as you probably have noticed, creating all the different configuration objects, parsing the information, including logic via properties and such is tedious and may not be sustainable nor scalable.
