Yeah, I know the things we add in the "Boot Kernel Parameters" field actually get added to the --append "blah blah blah" line
I need to add ipappend 2 before the --append.
What gets generated by default:
append initrd=rhel58_x64/initrd.img lang=en_US devfs=nomount %anything_I_put_in_the system_package_boot_kernel_parameters_field%
What I get if I put ipappend 2 in the "Boot Kernel Parameters" (Doesn't work)
append initrd=rhel58_x64/initrd.img lang=en_US devfs=nomount ipappend 2
What I need
append initrd=rhel58_x64/initrd.img lang=en_US devfs=nomount
That's why I need to know how we generate these files, so I can slide the ipappend 2 line in there.
try adding it in the OS definition on the line where you put in the 'vmlinuz'
It just adds it to the same line. Is there an escape character I can use to make it go on a new line?
It shouldn’t need to be on a separate line – why do you think it needs to be on a different line?
Mostly because it didnt work
Could be something else I guess, it's hard to say whats really going on- once we use the bootif as ksdevice- I am not sure how to know whether or not that got populated.....

yeah - i see that it needs to be on a separate line. i don't think there's a way to change it. submit a rfe for an option to add that parameter or make it a default.
