Try to put the same appserver hostname shown in the error console in host file.
I have used App serer IP and even mentioned entry in Host file. But it still showing same error.
Do I need to restart any service after this setting?
Hey Thanks Afzal,
Its working now.
I have added all possible host name of App server in host file and it started working
From the console server, can you ping the "Applicationservername.xx.xxxxx.com"?
See the kb, https://kb.bmc.com/infocenter/index?page=content&id=KA316153 for the reasons for this.
You can also run these commands to fix the issue:
blasadmin -a set app ValidateRequestURL false
blasadmin -a set auth appserv "service:appsvc.bladelogic:blsess://Applicationservername.xx.xxxxx.com:9841"
No i don't think that is required.
Did you put the exact name of the server in the hostname as mentioned in the error?
e.g <<hostname.dns (exactly showed in the log)>> <<hostname>> <<ip>>
I believe the addition of entries in the host file is a workaround for one console.
You need to make sure the clients can properly resolve that appserver hostname that’s used in the URL, so it seems you need to update DNS or you can force a url in the appserviceurl setting to something that is resolvable.
Thank you very much it working now after updating Host file entries on BSA Console machine.
