There is not currently a way to do what you want. If the user wants to run against 10 servers, why are they choosing a smart group w/o knowing what is in the group? I think this is a user education issue if they are running jobs on the servers they should not be. how would you determine a limit ? what if I really did need to run against 20 servers and I’m limited to 10 ?
Thanks a lot Bill.
This is what I was expecting to hear. But sometimes, you are waiting for an special answer, an unknown option, un unreleased blcli, a miracle...

If your goal is to "avoiding the execution in a lot of servers" you can also create your own custom server property in the Property Dictionary. Some of my customers do this to stage their deployments.
For example, in the Configuration > Property Dictionary View. Expand "Built-in Property Classes" and select the Server class. Press the green + sign to create a new class.
Name = CUSTOM_GROUP
Type = Simple, String enumeration
Possible values = Group1, Group2, Group3, Group4, etc
Then in your Server Smart Groups you can use those new server properties to divide your servers into smaller groups for deployments.
