This morning we got to the office and were logging on to the Server Automation Console and kept receiving an error "Cannot connect to "service:authsvc.bladelogic:blauth://servername:9840 - No buffer space available (maximum connections reached?): connect."
I tried logging in under different Authentication Profile and got the same error. I then restarted both of my application servers and we were able to login, but to much of our dismay the jobs we had schedule the previous day did not run. Any thoughts about what or where I should start looking at fixing this to hopefully aviod this issue again? At first I thought maybe there was a setting for maxium client connections I could check and looking at infrastructure management there seems to be a setting for this. I just hate to tinker with these settings without getting a second opinion. Any comments and feedback is much appreciated.
I would look in the appserver log to see when it stopped functioning. can you attach the appserver logs that show from before you restarted it ?
