There’s no making of temporary licenses. If you are wiping the disk, you’ll get a new temp license everytime you install the agent on the fresh OS build no matter what is in the licensing portal. the temp license comes w/ the agent install. if the hostid changes during the build, the temp license will become invalid. This could be from the ip or hosts file getting modified.
Yep, it's definitely from the hosts file getting modified in the post-install. I had a process that separated the actual hostname from 127.0.0.1. I took it out and it works fine now.
