          Your FT Indexer log showed the server continuously scanning schemas 461 and 1305.  This may have been the reason your simple test case was delayed.  This type of continuous scanning is not normal behavior.  If you could determine what forms those schema IDs are associated with and check what their scan interval is set at, it would be helpful.  Also, is one or both of those forms overlayed?  Knowing that could also help with the diagnosis.

            Every  Monday, and on dates  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 of every month at  12:06PM

             

            1305 AST:ComputerSystem

            On date 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 of every month at  10:50AM

             

            Both join forms, both overlaid.

             

            In ft_pending it keeps having entries for both these forms (operation type 11) and completing 100 and 1000 of these operations per second.

             

            In asset computer systems, we can find new assets, but not ones that are several months old. very peculiar.
