You can use the NSH Script type - 3 i guess, it is
Copy and execute the script against each host separately
You can make use of FLAGS, you can add flags like -e to the script .
this will be passed to your script as a command line flag,
inside your script you need to make sure you interpret these flags wihtin the logic using somehting like getopts !
See BL User guide "NSH Script and NSh Script jobs"
Hope this helps,
Thank you so much for reply,
As we have two options here -e and ls so can we set two flags? would be greatful if you can provide me the steps.
I think you have only one flag -e and its value is ls ?
so it should be executed on command line as
'yourscrpt.sh -e ls' right ?
Hi Rohit ,
Thanks alot.....Script is working fine now...
The out put is going to all the target machines, is there anyway to collect output of all servers? I mean copying the files to one server?
For that you need to use a nsh script to copy back to the central location, not the type 3 .
Its like my development days, requirements changing abruptly !!
If you need to copy back stuff you will have to use NSH script , it wont be difficult to convert your non-nsh script to nsh one !
