    Hi Devendra,

    I tried xexpdt command

but it is asking for class instances to export not for recon jobs.

if u have any idea how we can export recon jobs by command line that will be helpful.

    Open Command prompt

goto cmdb bin path. By dafault "C:\Program Files\BMC Software\AtriumCore\cmdb\server\bin"

type cmdbdriver and hit enter. You found options for all operations related to cmdb.

This is for Windows Operating System.

Refer to CMDB PDF for more details.

Hope it will give you some idea...

The driver commands can only export .def or .xml files.

What is the specific scenario you wish to try once you have .arx files, we can see if there are alternatives to achieve that.

    Thanks,

    Nikhil.

    Hi Swetha,

There is not direct way to do this from command line.

    Reason:

A Recon Job is constituted of entries in several AR forms.

If you observe the entries in the arx file after exporting the job via the CMDB:Console, you will see that there are several schemas for which instances are present - these are all related to the same Recon Job.

If you were to export it via command line - you could export the entries from the AR forms - all associated with the same Job. The association is something that will take some finding out.

That is how the export job is internally implemented.

    Hope this helps
