Is there a SmartGroup named "testx" in the Jobs-Folder?
it’s looking for a static job group and you have targeting a smart group…
blcli_execute SmartJobGroup groupNameToId “your group”
blclI_execute Job findAllHeadersByGroup $
blcli_execute SJobHeader getName
blcli_execute Utility setTargetObject
blcli_execute Utility listPrint
Sorry, I should have clarified a little more.
Yes there is a smartgroup called testx
I have moved the folder to various sub folders (If you have spaces in folder names, it can cause extra errors also)
the smartgroup has one job listed in it for test purposes.
The job folder containing the actual NSH job lists fine.
I need to use a smartgroup folder because I need the lookup capability.
This appeared fixed in a KB article for VGP job smartgroups.
Thanks for the response.
Thanks Bill for the reply.
What is the $ referencing here. I have included it in the script and it throws up bunch of errors mainly focusing around Input $ cannote be converted to expected type.

That should be $jobGroupId - the variable where the Id is stored to in the line above, referencing your SmartGroup
yep, my email reply got messed up...
