This works on Solaris
ndd -set /dev/tcp tcp_ip_abort_cinterval 5000
(it is 180000 by default, i.e. 3 minutes)
Some of this will be governed by the tcp timeout settings of the os. How badly is this affecting things such that you want to change the timeout ?
Its just that we are not able to add a few target servers where the network is a bit slow as compared to other networks. But yes, your suggestion helps. Thanks.
