I think you may need to run update_cognos_model_custom_objects
Check Chapter 9 of the BMC BladeLogic Decision Support for Server Automation Database Administration Guide for details.
Have you run the inventory snapshots before the etl runs ?
I just tried to run sanpshot job but it is failing with error
"Snapshot of target part "Solaris Configuration" of asset class type 'extended object' failed on target
Unable to parse file /app/bmc/Bladelogic/8.1/NSH/tmp/application_server?WorkItem_thread-28-......
Exception occurred during parsing: expected end of tag 'processes':line=5, coloumn=13
Is I am missing anything?
Is the custom object “Unix Processes” available for that server?
Can you live browse the “Unix processes” custom object for that server?
Check the contents of the templates you’re taking the snapshot of.
All of them must be available on the target servers.

The inventory templates don’t use the COs. They have scripts to pull that info
Did I send the fixed os_config.nsh ?
Could you please send that fixed os_config.nsh file?
Thanks a lot Bill.
It worked perfectly.
I also have same issue, BBSA 8.1 SP2 7 BBDSA 8.1 SP2.
Could I have copy of updated os_config.nsh script?
Parag is about to send it over.
Got it .. thanks ..
I am having the same problem on a customer site running BBSA 8.1 SP2 and BDSSA 8.1 SP2, could you send me the update os_config script or let me know where I can get it from.
Raised support case
I was sent a revised os_config script but it had the exact same issue. Latest feedback said "devs are working on it" but if there is a fixed script can I test that please.
There’s a new os_config.nsh included w/ bdssa 8.1 sp3. Have you tried that ?
Thanks Bill will give it a go.
