I'm guessing this is on a Windows platform?
Go to Start>Administrative Tools>Services
Find the BMC Remedy AR System Server service....look in the Startup Type column.
To set it double click on the service...go to general tab and then startup type.
Sorry I've forgotten to precise the platform. OS is solaris 5.10. So it is not so easy than on Windows

You will need to follow the format that Solaris wants and use these commands in the RC startup and shutdown scripts to correctly automatically start AR System Server at Solaris boot time.
Thank you Dirk for your answer. I thought there was specific files like for AIS to be pushed into /etc/init.d
