Is this the screen it ends up at after it PXE boots and loads your WinPE image? If so, I'm guessing you're WinPE image hasn't been created correctly, as it should start a batch job which configures the machine a little bit and then runs BMI to call back to the appserver to see if there is a provisioning job queued up.
The version of WAIK I've had most success with in BBSA 8.1 is vista_6000.16386.061101-2205-LRMAIK_EN (whatever version that is). One other thing I've noticed is that I've always had issues creating the images using the Console using the GUI toolkit, and instead find that using the script from the provisioning files zip usually works better.
is there anying in c:\blprov?
can the box talk on the network?
This screen appears after the provisioning job has provisioned the OS all the way in the end.
Also the provision job comes with the status " Success"
I am using AIK 2.0 for image creation.
I was able to successfuly provision WIndows 2003 Enterprise -32 bit and then as part of the provisioning job deploy RSCD and batch job as well.
As Bill suggested, can you see any logs under C:\BLProv and does the server have network connectivity? It looks to me like it's still doing something, maybe an installer is still running in the background. Check what processes are running in Task Manager, see if there is anything unusual going on. CTRL+SHIFT+ESC should bring up Task Manager as explorer doesn't seem to have loaded up.
Is the installation media OK? I know it's unlikely, but have you tried installing Windows from this media / ISO manually, does it work properly?
