Why do you need to do this? what’s the use case?
We have a ton of packages in which a local property has been set for use during deployment we now need to change that local property on a whole bunch of the packages. We're trying to find a method for searching each package to determine which ones need changing and then change them.
We'd like to automate it if possible. Its looks likey that this is not possible however.
Obviously using a local property for global config is not the best idea...
I know it a bit late for this, but you could have created a custom property class, and an instance to store your values within, and then made your Local Package property reference your custom property instance. Then you would be able to control the values centrally from within the property dictionary but still easily reference the properties locally within your packages. What version of BBSA are you running?
Yes we have custom property classes as well, unfortunatly this property doesnt use them.
We are using BL 7.6
