I see there is init() method in which I can set static variable to use. Another question for the regex plugin. Is it working on the dairy field ( for e.g detailed description on incident record)?
If not, can you or any one give an idea on how to access such field in plugin class. If somehow it can be converted to character stream, it can be used to apply regex if current plugin is not supporting it.
You can pass diary field when calling the Regex Plugin just as ordinary character fields. Each entry of diary field will be separated by new line, something similar like this

Anyone tested on ARS 8.x?
it should works on ARS 8.x
Good news! I’ll give this a try today and post to confirm.
BMC needs more people like you, that understands the users & administrator needs.
Just did some minor update to the Regex plugin. Now it is version 4.1 and it supports counting occurrence of a pattern inside a string.
Thanks very much for your continued effort improving this plugin
Where can I download the source code for the plugin?
Thanks alot for your effort, is a powerful API that help us in requests that day by day are common for us users, I tested this API in the ARS 7.6.04 SP5, specifically in an advanced interface form (AIF) of SRM and works fine.
Glad to hear that. Hope more people could also take advantages of this plugin.
The Replace function doesn't seem to be working in the 4.0 or 4.1 version on ARS 9.01 (64-bit)
I've tried recreating the example in the documentation and it's not working as expected. In my example, all HTML tags should be replaced with "test"... but instead, the only thing that seems to be returned is "test".
Has anyone run into this issue as well?
could you turn the logging on (See "Troubleshooting" chapter in the documentation) and share the log file here?
