Is there a link or a place I could explore to see what BLCLI actually is and how to use it?

If you have the gui installed -> Start | programs | bmc software | blcli help

Use the default help as Bill mentioned in his post. There is enough information to get you started.

Also, type blcli in the communities search and filter by documents to find additional documents on blcli and some creative uses of blcli documented by other users.

It’s likely that the default program for opening html is notepad and not IE.  You need to open that file w/ IE.

You can access the help by actually navigating to where it is installed on your server i.e. for example, in my desktop, the blcli location is -

                  C:\program files\BMC BladeLogic\OM\Doc\help\cli

After you navigate to that folder, open 'index.html' and/or make a shortcut to your desktop.
