David, CentOS patching isn’t officially supported, but we have built an unsupported version of the VPC for CentOS. Let me know if this is something you would like to try out in your environment. Contact me email@example.com directly and I’ll send you the files and the install document.
NOTE: This is not officially supported.
I'll drop you an email.
I want to patch Centos Linux with BladeLogic 8.1 sp2.
Could you please share VPC files & install doc with me.
I am also working on this, my Cent OS patching for 64 bit is working fine. but for 32 bit I am getting below error ini blres.yum.srun file.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
can anyone please guide me ?
What version of Blade is this ?
Is this Catalog based patch job ?
If yes, please make sure that the patch catalog is updated completely and correctly.
How have you downloaded the rpms in the repositrory ?
Is this a single repo for mixed architectures ?
Please make sure that all the rpms with respect to the dependencies have been downloaded and
RedHatRepositoryManager-yummifyrepo run on the repository.
What is the value of the parameters "Update only flag" in the Analysis Job ?
The errors you are getting because there are some missing dependencies.
Besides, there is also a conflict. Best will be to first resolve the missing depenencies
I have already checked the repo. I figured out those RPMs are not in Repo. does it uses offline kind of patching. means do I need to download missing RPMS and put in repo?
I was not in this environment from the start. these settings are exists here. I am trying to trouble shoot and make the things working
Appriciate your help.
Yes, You will have to manually download the rpms and add to the repo.
Yes, this is offline, it will not download any rpms during the analysis.
Do you know if centos can be patched in BL Version 8.3?
