    RSCD 8.0 install, silent, local

      Hello!

      To install new rscd agent 8.0 I try to use schema from documentation “Silent upgrading Linux and UNIX agent”. I assume that this part isn’t only for upgrading.

      My /tmp/nsh-install-defaults

      [root@redhat2 tmp]# cat nsh-install-defaults

      INSTALL_DIR=/opt/nsh

      export INSTALL_DIR

      NSH_INSTALL_SKEL=y

      export NSH_INSTALL_SKEL

      COMPONENT_CHECKED=1

      export COMPONENT_CHECKED

      And I execute

      ./RSCD800-433-RHAS3SUSE9.SH -local –silent

      And looks ok

      [root@redhat2 rscd_lin_32bit]# ps -ef| grep rscd

      root     16600 16599  0 11:37 ?        00:00:00 bin/rscd

      root     16601 16599  0 11:37 ?        00:00:00 bin/rsc

      [root@redhat2 rscd_lin_32bit]# netstat -ant | grep 4750

      tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:4750                0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN

      But after reboot agent aren't running

      There is no file ie. /etc/init.d/rscd

      and during uninstallation process I get output

      [root@redhat2 NSH]# ./Uninstall

      The RSCD agent and/or Network Shell do not seem to be

      installed on this system.

      Is there any default nsh-install-default file?

      How to set runing on boot?

      And what does mean 'The RSCD agent and/or Network Shell do not seem to be

      installed on this system. during uninstallation process?
