Check the Virtual Center server properties. Does OS_RELEASE show "5.2
VC2.5"? (Assuming you have your Virt Center running in Win2003).

Then either the RSCD agent is not the VC-specific one, or something else is wrong.
- Uninstall the agent from your VC server.
- Reboot the Server
- Re-install the VC-specific RSCD agent.
- Do an "agentinfo" and see if it shows up with the "VC" value in the OS_RELEASE.
- Then license the agent.
- Do "agentinfo" again.
Reasoning behind this is that I had an issue a while ago where the "VC" value would go away after I licensed the RSCD agent. It went away after we upgraded to a newer HotFix release of the 7.6. VC agent so never got to the bottom of it.
What version are you running?
That got it. The VC agent wasn't installed.
