how to register PXE server with BladeLogic

    Matt Kreger

I installed PXE and TFTP on a new server and all is running, but it doesn't show up under PXE servers in Infrastructure Management.  How do I register the PXE server with the BladeLogic application server?

      Thanks

That should happen automatically when the PXE server successfully connects to the database. Check your PXE log

            Infrastructure Management says:

0 Pxe Servers have been configured to use this database.

I see no errors in the pxe.log.

Hmmm. Well that shows it trying to start, but I do not see where it finalizes. Have you verfied the pxe service is still running and that the ports are open?

I wasn't getting anywhere, so I just uninstalled and re-ran the OM install.
