getlic and putlic should be on your appserver. can you run them from there against the new host?
autolic should work like:
autolic <username> <password> <server1> <server2> <server3> ...
I have a similar situation. Running NSH 7.6 from my Solaris 10 Appserver.
I can do getlic on individual hostnames, but as soon as I try using
a file with a listing of hosts ( each on there own line ) I get the following :
root@system $PWD: getlic -f NOC_good_license
//.bladelogic grants non-owner access.
Error accessing host CSV01 : Remote host is unknown
Error accessing host CSV02 : Remote host is unknown
Error accessing host CSV03 : Remote host is unknown
Error accessing host CSV04 : Remote host is unknown
Error accessing host CSV05 : Remote host is unknown
Any ideas ?
are there any control characters in the file? run it through tr or dos2unix.
That was it. I created the file using awk and snuck in an extra newline character
that messed things up. Works now.
