    RedHat 5.3

Is anyone using patch analysis for redhat 5.3?

I'm trying here. Not having much luck yet. I have to run the Linux patch analysis because the RedHat patch analysis gives me a version not supported message:

i think you're going to have to modify the rhpc.pl script in the depot, search in there for "5.2" or "5.0" and "RedHat" and then add in a line like the others for 5.3.

there might be a couple places you have to do this.

            • 3. Re: RedHat 5.3

Working with support we've found that problem, using Linux Patch Analysis job, is related to yum. In RH53 command yum-version gives out an output different from previous version and so nsh job is not able to find right yum version.

Support provided me a manual patch (5 lines to be changed in the script) and now works.

Could you please post this manual patch here?
