BMC Service Automation Reporting and Analytics

We are currently running Oracle 9.2 on Solaris and it houses our report and application server’s databases. We upgrade our application server to 7.6 two weeks ago to fix a couple of critical bugs we were having with patching in BladeLogic 7.4.5. Our report server is no longer compatible with our new BladeLogic 7.6 application server.

The database requirements for the BMC Service Automation Reporting and Analytics server to be running on Oracle 10.2g. Our DBA group requires all new Oracle 10.2g databases to be built out on AIX. If we are going to build out a new database environment, we would like to move our application server database to AIX as well for better performance. What steps do we need to follow to migrate/move the application database over to AIX? Do you have documentation on how to perform a migration from 9.2 on Solaris to 10.2g on AIX? Any information you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

      Thanks,
