I am installing the RSCD agent with RSCD-753-SOLSPARC.SH on Solaris. I would like to make the agent install silently. A consultant that was on sight a while back showed me a -silent option that can be used when executing the script mentioned above. Does the -silent accept the defaults during the installation and is there a way to specify which components I want installed or configured? I need to be able to silently install the agent with agent logging. A list of option that can be used with the agent could be helpful as well. Can anyone help?
Look in the 'BladeLogicInstallation.pdf' in the 'upgrading agents on unix' section. there's a list of options that you put in a 'nsh-install-defaults' file that goes in /tmp. if it's there, the installer will pickup the settings when you run it w/ -silent.
