    SRP Authentication Failure

      Hi

I recently completed a migration from 7.3 > 7.4.3 Sp1 and when trying to login to CM get error "SRP Authentication Failure". It is running on RedHat.

Looking at the appserver.log it continually gernerates the following message.......

What port is your profile setup to use?

Post the output of 'netstat -an | grep 48*

Make sure your config.xml shows the srp port as 9840

              • 4. Re: SRP Authentication Failure

It is using 9829 so I wnet and changed the CM profile to that...anywhere else a I would need to change it....

                • 5. Re: SRP Authentication Failure

                  That should be it

                  • 6. Re: SRP Authentication Failure

I am also getting the same SRP authentication error, however I am not able to locate the config.xml file. Could you please give me the complete path where i can check for this file?

what version of blade are you using?  the config.xml went away in v 7.4 or 7.6.

                        ok... I am using 8.1 SP3...

so, is the appserver listening on ports 9840 and 9841?

is there anything in the appserver log - eg, is it running ?

                          • 10. Re: SRP Authentication Failure

Yes .. its listening on port 9840 & telnet is also successful..

I have also checked the app service & its also running...

                            • 11. SRP Authentication Failure

did the request reach appserver ?

what is in the appserver.log ?
